....ELI...!!!!!!!

You know in those little moments when you think everything is fine and all is quiet and under control, then you hear the sudden burst of ......"ELI".......... and then your heart sinks because you know that it has to be bad. Well we had one of those moments today; most of the household jobs were done and everyone was settled doing their own thing, and during those wonderful quite moments Eli got the idea to have a snack. He opted for a nice organic honey roasted peanut butter and feeling that he could not just keep it to himself, he shared it with the walls, and the floor, and the fridge, and the dishwasher, and the table. Thank heavens it wasn't that kind with hydrogenated cotton seed oil so it could really ruin things; it actually was a relatively quick clean up- and he is lucky since my sister Barbara is on her way here from the airport! What better way to start off a weekend with family, right?

I'm right now having flashbacks of eggs on the kitchen floor, costco sized baby powder tubs all over a certain little boy's room (I'm talking in drawers, in sheets...everywhere)...you get the idea. Did you take a picture??

No pictures I was in too big of a hurry to clean everything up- I know that is a lame excuse isn't it! Oh the joys of having children- I feel your flashback pain!

See, just another reason to go organic!

What is it with kids and peanut butter? That exact same senario happened at the house next door just last week!

Is this what we have to look forward to?

Ah, yes, the memories. Kalie finger painted a large tub of Vasaline on the inside of our first tent. Bec painted with something a little less nice...that's all I'll say about that. Erik used a tube of lipstick to decorate his room.

Little Stephen doesnt really make messes (yet) he sneaks around stealing food. He likes to find hidden bags of candy and chips and stuff as much into his mouth as possible before getting caught. I have a feeling Joe will eb our messmaker....
