Well we have been fortunate to make some nice friends from church and yesterday we went to the Zoo at Central Park. We were walking along and who should we see......but Rod Stewart (and his wife and child, we think). It was all so sudden and he was not waiting around for us to figure out that he was there and stop for a photo shoot with us. Oh well, the kids thought he was some kind of crazy grandpa. That pretty much sums it up!

I love how kids are no respecter of persons. They say it like they see it. Who cares if he's rich or famous- he's an old guy who is married someone two- thirds his age and having a baby- it is ridiculous.
I saw Patrick Dempsey the last time I was in Manhattan; he was filming Enchanted and not knowing yet what the film was going to be about I kept thinking what an wierd dress his co-star was wearing in public! lol!!
